Alpha, the world leader in the production of electronic soldering materials, presented their newest solutions at the recent customer seminar hosted by EsmanElektronik, an distributor partner. The event, which has run for 10 years, was held on the 11th September and focused on the latest in soldering technology, conformal coating and soldering alloys. The seminar included presentations by industry experts, including Alpha’s Global Technical Expert and Trainer, Gilbert Renaud who presented on a variety of topics including how to get an excellent SMT, open issues on BGA, advice on how to choose the correct solder paste and an update on low liquidus solder paste and the new alloys.
“The topics were chosen to provide Esman’s customers with up to date information on how to achieve better SMT processing on lines, higher throughput and quality, making production easier and therefore reducing costs, how to prevent the Head in Pillow and Non Wet open issues and the benefits of Alpha’s new low liquidus solderpaste, OM 535 SBX0.2,” commented Gilbert Renaud.
The event was attended by over 170 of EsmanElektronik’s customers which included Engineers, Technicians, Managers and Directors. Both companies have enjoyed a successful partnership for many years, with EsmanElektronik distributing Alpha products across Turkey. The distributor partner is also a valuable source for information and training with numerous seminars and training opportunities held at the Istanbul site.
