Erik Tobiason has accepted the position of president of Vitronics Soltec, taking the helm of the soldering specialist company after five years of serving as president of Graphics Microsystems, also a Dover company. US citizen Tobiason began his career within the Dover group as VP engineering/R&D of Graphics; prior to this he held positions in engineering and technology management with semiconductor companies in Silicon Valley. Erik Tobiason earned a degree in physics from California Polytechnic, and a Masters of Business from Santa Clara University. He will relocate to New Hampshire and operate from the Stratham-based (NH) US headquarters.
