Mydata: Industry awards for innovations

Mydata is currently celebrating multiple industry award wins for outstanding innovation. The prizes were handed over to the Mydata team in China at ceremonies during Nepcon China 2010 in Shanghai. „Innovation is the key to drive our industry and we are happy to see Mydata’s continuous efforts in R&D, despite tough general market conditions. Mydata’s vision and persistency is unparalleled”, says Adonis Mak, Publishing Director, SMT China. In the newly established category for innovation, China Vision Award announced the MY100DX as the winner during a ceremony on April 20th. The MY100DX not only delivers outstanding throughput in a high-mix environment, it seamlessly integrates with the material handling, planning and traceability systems in the factory. With the MY100 pick-and-place series, Mydata has been able to significantly broadening it’s offering due to major improvements in speed and throughput whilst at the same time keeping key features that allows for the fastest product set-ups and changeovers in the industry. On April 21st, the MY500 Jet Printer received the 2010 EM Asia Innovation award. The new MY500 Jet Printer was first displayed at the 2009 Productronica in Munich before being exhibited at Nepcon in Shanghai and has already won numerous industry awards for innovation. Using a revolutionary new technology for solder paste application, the MY500 Jet Printer shoots solder paste on the fly without touching the PCB. „The MY500 gives customers a clear competitive advantage and the ability to serve their customers with a very fast response time,” says Pelle Wennerlund, Managing Director of Mydata in China. „Customers who are on the fore-front of technology also turn to jet printing to enable new, challenging, board designs and take advantage of the latest packaging technologies.”
