Indium Corporation’s specifically developed wave-solder flux 3592–35 is a no-clean, halide-free material offering enhanced heat stability for the higher temperatures required in the lead-free soldering process. Its solvent-based formulation is claimed to provide a wide process window, superior hole fill and excellent solderability on all board finishes, with minimized solder balling. It can be used with alloys composed of tin-copper, tin-silver-copper and tin-lead. The flux is focused on lead-free wave soldering of mixed-technology and through-hole board assemblies.
