The manually operated universal IPTE test handler model ANT provides in a very small package in-circuit, functional as well as combined test procedures. The equipment is designed for highly flexible applications where minimized costs and at the same time maximum performance is essential. Especially for small production batches as well as highmix/ small-patch environments, the handler offers a remarkable price-performance ratio. It is based on a 19-in PXI mainframe that contains all instrumentation for measurements of board assemblies. Due to its very compact size, the handler can easily be used at different manufacturing sites. The product-specific fixturing is done pneumatically or manually depending on user demands. This allows for flexible applications on a various product types. Furthermore, the use of standardized test software assures a minimum of set-up time as well as low cost of ownership. The range of applications is characterized by the measurement and stimuli capabilities of DCV, DCA, audio and video signals, digital signals as well as all kinds of frequencies up to high ranges.
