The Asymtek four-position tilt accessory is available on the SC-300 Swirl Coat applicator. The option provides coating access in areas not accessible from standard vertical approach. Ideal for applying conformal coating to component sides or underneath parts on a PCB, the mechanism tilts the applicator: 30 degrees from vertical to the left, right, front or back. Tilt is software controlled, and can be retrofitted to Century systems. The Swirl Coat applicator operates in three modes: bead, monofilament and swirl. Maintenance is significantly improved by minimizing material build-up at the zero-cavity nozzle. If necessary, a periodic clean-up routine can be added to the program.
