Transition Automation, Inc. has been awarded a patent for its innovative universal holder system. The key benefit for which the patent claims are based on is a unique pin and open circular window that allows users to quickly change blades, and know that they are referenced properly in the holder.
The design is insensitive to contamination and residual solder paste, thereby improving the accuracy and clamping performance when users install new blades. The company includes this patented design on all universal holders it sells for retrofitting the many high-end in-line SMT printers used throughout the world.
