The multilayer production tools from LPKF help to produce complete multilayer prototypes in three simple steps. Structuring, pressing and through-hole plating now have such short process times that complete samples can be fabricated and tested in a single day. A circuit board plotter structures and drills the different layers of the PCB. The MultiPress S presses and heats the layers (rigid, flexible, HF, etc.), and the company’s ProConduct system provides the final step of through-hole conductivity without the use of harsh chemicals (the firm also offers the MiniContac RS, for producing uniform, high quality through-hole plating).
