MultiCut SMT stencil laser – a new class of efficiency
LPKF introduces its MultiCut laser cutting system designed especially for SMT stencil work.

The MultiCut features FastCut technology, a specially designed beam deflection system that enables the system to cut small apertures without moving the table. Not only does this result in greater stability because of reduced table movement, but the cutting speed improves tremendously. The product cuts SMT stencils at unprecedented speeds. The system meets virtually any upcoming demands for higher aperture count and higher density.
The new LongLife laser lasts for thousands of operating hours before requiring changes. The laser is most efficient, using 85 % less power than normal. It doesn’t even require external cooling radiators, but still efficiently cuts material as thick as 600 µm. This is perfect even for cutting small parts. Micromachining with the MultiCut is opening up new business perspectives.
The final element is the professional EasyEdit software, featuring a variety of tools for offering the user ultimate control of fast and easy aperture modification.
The price/performance ratio makes the LPKF MultiCut ideal for both start-ups and established stencil manufacturers seeking incremental capacity.
