Elektrobit JOT’s stand-alone Mini-Router is a cost efficient solution for PCB panel topside depaneling. The machine offers an accurate routing system with clean cutting results. Small footprint and flexibility enables diverse possibilities to use the depaneler efficiently in production. For example, several machines can be used as the main routing equipment for the same high-volume product, or for small-batch manufacture if line set-up costs for new product are too expensive. Mini-Router can also be used as backup equipment, just in case an in-line router is down. The equipment is used manually. The operator places the PCB panel onto the fixture, and the topside routing happens by using a Cartesian box robot with XYZ-axes and high-frequency spindle mechanism. Cutting speed can be up to 60mm/s, depending on the layout and material of routed substrate. Cutting accuracy is defined with ±0.2mm.
