The Digitaltest MTS888 in-circuit tester is said to feature the highest pin count and the smallest footprint of its class. There are up to 7,040 analog or 3,392 hybrid test pins, non-multiplexed. The machine is tri-state capable and provides automatic driver monitoring. One logic family is programmable per pin, with 256 K pin memory. The machine accommodates all popular bus communication protocols (CAN, I2C, RS232, etc.). It performs analog and digital ICT functions as well as analog and digital tests, and offers memory programming and boundary-scan checks.
