Innovative solutions for the processing of liquid plastics are at the center of the symposium Rampf Technologietage 2015 in Rottweil, Germany, on 18th and 19th June. High-profile speakers from renowned companies will provide insights into current challenges and future developments. The event is being hosted by Rampf Production Systems, the international manufacturer of low-pressure mixing and dispensing systems and renowned automation specialist. Bonding, casting, and sealing technologies are increasingly being dominated by automated assembly and monitoring systems. This spans a variety of areas, ranging from holistic design processes for electronic components, to production systems with integrated mounting, connecting, testing, and heat treatment processes.
“However, the potential for further process optimization is significant. This is why the event is focusing on the topic ‘Automation and Dispensing of Liquid Plastics,’” states Bernd Faller, Managing Director of host company Rampf Production Systems.
Reputable end-users, material producers, and system partners such as Brose, Kuka Roboter, and SMA Solar Technology will report on present tasks and future challenges involving innovative solutions for optimizing the processing of liquid plastics. “Of course, we will also be making sure that there is enough time and space for participants to share thoughts and experiences,” explains Bernd Faller.
Part of the event will also be a tour of the premises of the company with live demonstrations of foaming, bonding, casting, and conductive processes. There will be showcasing the processing of the fast-curing Raku-Pur Speed two-component polyurethane gaskets from Rampf Polymer Solutions, the dispensing of casting compounds with extremely high thermal conductivity, and the ultra-precise application of gap fillers. The tour will be rounded off by a demonstration showing the rapid curing of two-component PU adhesives via infrared radiation.
