Developer of advanced materials for microelectronics and MEMS applications, KemLab has announced its intention to apply for funding under the U.S. CHIPS Act. The company said it welcomed the strides made by the CHIPS Act in the U.S. in bolstering the nation‘s semiconductor manufacturing capabilities and commends the Act‘s dedication to enhancing the supply chain‘s resilience and sustainability.
“The semiconductor industry has a significant role to play in fuelling technological innovation and underpinning various critical sectors of the economy,” the company said in a press release. “The CHIPS Act, with its commitment to providing much-needed funding and support, aligns seamlessly with [our] mission to continuously advance and secure the semiconductor supply chain.”
