Due its high yellowing resistance this white Wepuran casting compound of Lackwerke Peters based on polyurethane resin is particularly suitable for use in optoelectronics. Even when exposed to intense sunlight only a very slight yellowing of the surface is to be expected, but this does not have any influence on the protective effect. High-quality and shock-sensitive electronic components, LED lights, illuminated keyboards and fittings, etc. are reliably protected by the comparatively hard potting. The smooth white surface gives the potted object particularly classy appearance. Due to the catalysed adjustment the casting compound should preferably be processed in mixing and dispensing equipment. Customers appreciate the quick cure. When heated slightly to 40°C the potting can be removed from the mould after just 10 minutes.
