Dosing, application and filling systems provider ViscoTec showcased a variety of product innovations at the Productronica fair in Munich from 14–17 November. The first is the vipro-FEED M plus automated pail emptying system, which the company says ensures reliable feeding of 1– or 2-component media in processes. New features here include the automatic retraction of the follower plate and the evacuation function. The determination of the position of the follower plate allows for continuous level monitoring. Material feeding is bubble-free and precise thanks to the automated separating plate degassing; a pressure reduction function also reduces the load on pressure-sensitive media.
Another product highlight is the vipro-PUMP, a configurable 1-component dispenser available in five different sizes. The vipro-DUO has also received a number of updates to its functionality and design in the run-up to the trade fair. In addition to optimization of the installation space, customers can look forward to a simplified robotics connection and reduced disruptive contours thanks to frontal dosing pressure sensors.
The new carbide rotor was exhibited together with the established ceramic variant. With the flowplus-SPT M6 J, the company provides a powerful sensor system for the pressure and temperature monitoring of dosing processes.
