Seho North America, Inc. showcases the PowerWave, soldering complex SMD boards as reliably as conventional assemblies as a result of up-to-date solder nozzle geometries and a flexible preheat area. The preheat conveyor speed is independent of the solder wave conveyor speed, separating the preheat profile from the contact time in the wave. The preheat time is independent from the machine length, giving the machine a much smaller footprint than other machines on the market. Depending on the production requirements, the system may be equipped with a chain/finger conveyor system or with a solder frame conveyor for processing pallets. The heart of the machine, the soldering area, is designed with a degree of flexibility that is capable of performing all soldering operations.
The GoSelective offers an uncompromisingly high soldering quality. Featuring a high-precision mini-wave process, the system is ideally suited for high product mix, offering maximum flexibility, particularly for small- and medium-sized production volumes. It features a precise axis system for exact positioning of various workstations, and is capable of handling both bare boards and assemblies in carriers up to 500 x 500 mm. For the highest process reliability, the system is featured with a fiducial recognition function for automatic PCB alignment, process visualization, a comfortable, easy-to-use offline teach program, and many other features. As always, all soldering systems from the company are fully lead-free capable.
