Machine Vision Products (MVP) has announced the launch of the Versa Pro system, a platform providing SMT inspection capabilities for challenging products.
The new system provides high accuracy 3D inspection of SMT and PCB assemblies using the latest high end projector based 3D technology. The new platform provides:
- The design advances the precision of automated inspection for SMT by using a precision granite stage that provides enhanced stability over other platforms. The Versa Pro reduces vibrations and enhancing positional accuracy for the users of the platform.
- The company says its latest 3D projector technology provides repeatability below 1 um allowing the user to be certain of the results from the system.
- MVP platforms allow for multiple lighting options. If you need 3D imaging you can use the Versa Pro’s multiple angled projectors and lighting options. If you need surface inspection you have the ability to use our advanced lighting solutions to enhance inspection and find many defects that would otherwise be hidden to other technologies.
- The system also provides access to MVP’s algorithm capabilities. Users will have access to both defect and measurement based capabilities.
- Recently updated traceability tools allow users to monitor of the increased accuracy, repeatability, defect detection capabilities to continually improve yields and quality.
