Modular curing system with LED technology

The new BlueWave LED DX-1000 from Dymax is unique. It was designed as a modular system and can be configured to operate in either small-area flood or spot-cure mode. End users, system integrators and manufacturers of production lines will appreciate the compact and modular design, because it is the ideal replacement for conventional UV curing systems. The system utilizes efficiently cooled, high-intensity 385 nm LED light to achieve consistent frequency and intensity output for better process control. Due to the easy-to-clean membrane keypad it can be used in clean rooms. The LED technology offers significant savings and advantages over conventional UV curing lamps. These are 80 % less power consumption compared to traditional UV lamps reduces process costs, extreme long lifetime of LEDs compared to conventional UV light sources, no shutter or moving parts means no maintenance downtime and low curing temperature ideal for temperature sensitive substrates. Also the compact and lightweight design allows for integration into 3-axis motion systems or production lines with minimal space and adjustable intensity enables high accuracy compared to automatically regulated systems. The company has developed co-optimized adhesives specifically designed to cure with the system, enabling customers to convert quickly and confidently to LED light-curing systems. The company is a leading global manufacturer of light-curing materials, dispensing and curing equipment with offices in USA, Europe, China and Korea. For over 30 years, the company develops innovative solutions for industrial applications in the fields of medical, electronics, automotive, aerospace, solar energy, telecommunications, home appliances and glass industries.
