New software EUTECT LaRS (Laser Regulation and Control) developed by Eutect offers optimization of laser soldering processes. With a user-friendly interface and graphical visualization of all process parameters, including wire feed, the technology enables easy and quick adjustment of soldering parameters, even for complex soldering process requirements.

“LaRS is characterized by a graphically optimized parameter input, which enables a highly intuitive operation. Since all process parameters, including wire feed, are graphically visualized, the operator can make adjustments quickly and efficiently. The visual representation reduces the complexity of the settings, allowing the parameters to be optimized more easily. This increases efficiency,” says Lars Iwers, sales manager at Eutect.

Additionally, the software offers up to 250 freely parameterizable and individually adaptable temperature and power profiles. This ensures flexible and precise control of the laser soldering processes, which increases process reliability and leads to optimized results. When creating a new laser profile, the previous database can be accessed at any time by simply copying an existing profile. The individually adaptable temperature control with freely configurable pre- and post-heating profiles makes the soldering process easy to understand, and not just for process technologists. The clear user interface allows users to directly optimize parameters and make adjustments in real time. This significantly shortens the path to optimal process results, which not only saves time but also considerably improves the efficiency of laser applications.

“With this solution, we are once again setting an example in innovation and customer orientation. LaRS offers an advanced software environment for all users who are looking for a user-friendly and efficient way to control laser soldering processes,” continues Iwers. Eutect is optimizing the entire laser soldering process and, thanks to control technology, offers an extremely efficient solution for selective soldering.

The controlled laser technology is combined with the patented SWF wire feed module from EUTECT. This force/displacement-controlled wire feed, which is unique in the world, can detect incorrectly fed or evasive wire by means of force measurement and detection. In the coaxially designed optics, the laser, pyrometer and camera are centrally reflected and equipped with integrated position and focus visualization as well as automatic IO/NIO video memory. The interaction of the controlled laser power input and the force- and displacement-controlled wire feed provides a 100% closed-loop laser soldering process, which can be easily and efficiently controlled and regulated using the EUTECT LaRS.
