The Balver Zinn Group will exhibit a wide range of new flux and solder products at the Productronica 2021 trade fair scheduled to take place from November 16–19 in Munich, Germany.
The company, which will be located in Hall 4, Booth 261 says the flux platform JEAN-151 is its most versatile and has the widest range of applications in the industry. “Exactly two years after the introduction of JEAN-151 SAC305 T4 at Productronica 2019, we are pleased to announce that flux JEAN-151 can be combined with 8 different alloys and 3 powder sizes – T3, T4 and T5 – without modifications,” the company said. The platform has an extended shelf life of 12 months.
Lead-free micro-alloyed solder
The company, a pioneer in lead-free solders, will also present SN100CV, a lead-free micro-alloyed solder available as bars, solid wire, cored solder wire and in combination with JEAN-151 as solder paste. The company says the solder offers highly reliable solder joints recommended for high-end and automotive electronics. Balver Zinn is exclusive licensee of Nihon Superiors patented alloy SN100CV.
Alcohol-based flux
The company will also introduce REGI-007 VOC, an alcohol-based flux with an organic activation system. “REGI-007 VOC is a high reliable no-clean flux for various soldering applications classified as ORL0 according to IPC J-STD-004 standards. This brand-new flux offers superior wetting performance with clear, dry and almost un-visible residues,” the company said.
StarCore and 151-TEM
Balver Zinn will also introduce StarCore and 151-TEM which it says offer best performance for manual soldering and touch-up. “StarCore is a completely new series of cored solder wires and is available with flux carrier LF2220 and B2012 in combination with SN100C and SAC305. The tacky flux product range will be extended by 151-TEM. 151-TEM is brand new and compatible with the JEAN-151 solder paste platform,” it said.
