Seika Machinery, Inc., a provider of advanced machinery, materials and engineering services, will exhibit at the IPC Apex Expo. The company will showcase a complete lineup of equipment, including the latest models from McDry, Sawa, Sayaka, Hioki, and Malcom.

The FA1240 flying probe tester from Hioki provides a variety of benefits, including jig-less inspection for quick setup, and the proficient testing of mis-mounted components, faulty components, and poor contacts.

The SC-AH100 fully automatic low-VOC stencil cleaner, from Sawa, provides a 66% reduction in CO2 emissions and energy consumption over the previously fully automatic cleaning system offered, as well as, a huge reduction in running costs. Additionally, the system cleans and dries in just ten minutes or less. Alongside this, the Eco-Nozzle mounter nozzle cleaner will also be displayed, which is capable of cleaning up to 20 nozzles at a time. With the system, ultrasonically-vibrated water thoroughly passes through every nozzle opening. Double-cleaning power is generated with ultrasonic-energy cleaning and simultaneous vacuum suction. Nozzle tips and apertures can be cleaned without leaving any residue.

The CT23NJ PCB router, from Sayaka, provides stress-free depanelization along with a fixture-based highly efficient dust vacuum system. In addition to clean and precise depanelization for densely populated PCBs, the router features advanced image-processing software with point-and-click operation for programming router paths.

The DXU-1001A high-performance dry cabinet, from McDry, maintains 1 % RH levels. The company’s ultra-low humidity storage cabinets conform to IPC/JEDEC J-STD 033C and IPC 1601 Standards. Additionally, the ESD-safe design adheres to the IEC-61340–5–1 (ESD) standard. The cabinets dehumidify ICs to prevent micro-cracking and are an alternative to baking, MBBs and nitrogen storage.

The DXU-580YF McDry Yamaha feeder cabinet has been designed for the feeder storage, models YS and ZITA. The cabinet holds up to 21 feeders with tape and reel. It safely dehumidifies and stores MSDs in reels at an ultra-low humidity level of one percent RH. It also conforms to IPC-J-STD 033C.

The Unitech UC-250M-CV PCB board cleaner takes all the features of the UC-250M and adds a dual cleaning feature, using a combination of a brush roller with the silicone/adhesive cleaning rollers. The combination dual dust removal system assures better results than a single brush or adhesive roller system.

The Malcom RCX Series modular reflow oven profiling system offers complete profiling of reflow ovens, including oven temperature, video imaging, O2 concentration and convection air velocity. It verifies that ovens are performing at optimal conditions, and enables users to troubleshoot problem areas. Also, the PCU-02V spiral viscometer will also be shown, which is designed for expensive material testing and analysis by obtaining the viscosity characteristics with only a 0.2 cc sample. The spiral sensor provides continuous measurement of non-newtonian fluids with good repeatability.
