The fluxes 1110NC for lead-free wave soldering and 1111NC for selective soldering are made from more than 90 percent sustainable raw materials and are environmentally-friendly. 1110NC is ideal for spraying; it can also be used for foaming. Thanks to the solvent’s rapid evaporation, higher temperatures can be achieved in the preheating stage. The activators have been specially developed for lead-free processes.
The flux 1111NC is mainly used in selective soldering systems with the advantage of faster evaporation of the solvents. The risk of solder sputtering is reduced. The flux can be applied by selective spraying, dispensing or flux jetting. The two new liquid fluxes have been developed in accordance with the strict corrosion requirements of EN 61190 and IPC, and are therefore classified as ROL0.
Due to the unique rheology, PF-26 FMQ has an excellent contour stability (slump) combined with good roll and drop behaviour. The activation system combines first-class soldering results, even with long peak times and high insulation resistance (SIR). PF-26 FMQ offers a tack time of more than 2 days. The abandon time with one hour covers all requirements of SMD production. The paste can also be processed with super-fine pitch (0.3 mm), with class 4 powder (20–38 microns).
