The µPhase smartgage from Fisba Optik is a metrology solution for monitoring and controlling production processes in the high volume fabrication of small optical components. This measuring device was explicitly designed for workshop use. The innovative technology of the instrument ensures a cost-effective application in production areas and contributes to higher production yields. It enables the accurate digital analysis of surface deviations of flat, spherical and mild aspherical optics such as camera lenses for mobile phones or digital cameras, and allows quick pass/fail indication and analysis of PV, RMS and ISO coefficients, delivering certified measurement results in unchallengeable data quality.
It also is easy-to use. At just the touch of a button or by selecting the measurement option via touch screen, a measurement is initialized and the analysis results become visible on the display within seconds. In addition, LED lights immediately indicate whether or not the test sample lies within predetermined tolerances. Data can be stored either on the flash disk or on a USB stick.
With its small foot print, its insensitivity to vibration and its robust design, this stand-alone metrology instrument can be placed almost anywhere, even in rough workshop environments such as directly next to the machine. The device comes in three versions: Basic, Standard and Advanced.
