In the two years, the Siplace Compact series with the multifunction CF and the flexible CS modules has been on the market, this placement machines have become popular with manufacturers operating in the medium-volume/high-mix area. To take full advantage of the Siplace modularity, machines from the Compact series can be integrated into existing S-20/F4 lines. The programming software plays a central role in this process since the necessary modifications are integrated into the latest Version 2.1. Each C-line can now be programmed with this software, and all programming options and variants of the C-series are now available for all placement machines on such a line. The software Siplace C Pro 2.1 has many other fresh features, such as the Feeder Quantity Manager that lets the user call up a list of available component feeders along with their fill levels and possible alternatives. With this list, users can then optimize the placement process and take the appropriate steps already during the setup. Another key improvement is the exchange of data between various Siplace Pro systems.
