The German company Prueftechnik Schneider & Koch, Bremen, has enhanced all systems of the product family LaserVision based on the latest technologies. The use of color cameras in combination with telecentric lenses enables reliable checking at a very low pseudo error rate. The working area of the table system LVCompact II was increased to 350 x 450 mm and thus, its capacity was enhanced. This system also features the new concept with color camera and telecentric lens. The claim to keep operation simple and to allow the users efficient deployment is clearly substantiated here. In addition to the user-friendly advantages, the system offers a high testing depth and ensures reliable recognition of critical faults even in case of extreme cycle time requirements. The AOI platform ensures an effective deployment in the manufacturing process thanks to its technical innovations. Time and cost saving and an increase in quality are the logical consequences.
