The low-cost cleaning system Kolb PS02 has been developed for cleaning of screens and print stencils, the PS03 for stencils, PumpPrint stencils and soldering frames. Both machines address users having lower budgets, but wanting to perform fine cleaning. They fulfill customer demands in regard to small production quantities, efficiency, ease-of-use and reduced as well as friendly maintenance and short cycle times. In the PS 03, up to four soldering frames can be cleaned simultaneously. Drying will be done in the case of the PS 02 by using compressed air, and in the case of the PS 03 with an air compressor. A 5-stage filtration ensures a permanent regeneration of the detergent during the process. With a width of only 80cm and a depth of 120cm, the systems feature a footprint of less than 1sqm. An entire process consists of three steps (cleaning, rinsing, drying) and is overseen by a PLC. The systems can be used without any connection to water. The used-water network as the recommended cleaning detergent will be used for both the cleaning and rinsing process.
The top-of-the-range PS 09 HY is an allround high-performance cleaning system that handles assembled boards, misprints, DCB hybrid substrates and stencils and soldering carriers. This fully automated system removes solder paste, adhesive, flux, oil dust and grease, and they are suitable for stencils of up to 750x850mm. The modular concept allows for custom-specific solutions. The universal one-chamber mechanism enables performing up to seven process steps, and has been designed for fine-cleaning procedures (for example hybrids) and high volumes of board assemblies. The system software supports an efficient use in many cleaning combinations, as well as with individual process steps, and thus ensures an allround usage. This can create a high return-of-investment potential, paired with a clever design concept, reportedly offering highend quality in cleaning at low cost of ownership. After being programmed, the PS 09Hy can be operated easily and comfortably with a one push button operation.
