The French supplier CIF has launched the FT04 small-batch reflow oven to meet the requirements of lines with minimized output. The furnace is suitable for prototyping and small series of SMT boards. The working surface is 350 x 400 mm, and the process is based on hot air or an inert gas type. The equipment can store 99 different temperature profiles, with each feature offering the possibility of being able to store the parameters of preheat/reflow temperature and preheat/reflow time. Full visibility on process and board is possible from the top as it has a clear glass window in the cover. The FT04 has front loading with a rigid drawer. And the oven is capable of reaching the required temperatures for the lead-free process. The exit of air is at the backside and a 75 mm connection allows it to be coupled to a fume filtration unit.
