Entire electronics production value chain under one roof
In a few days productronica – the world’s leading trade fair for innovative electronics production – will be opening its doors. From November 15 – 18, 2011 more than 1,200 exhibitors from all over the world will be offering a unique and comprehensive overview of the entire electronics production value chain. With growth of more than 15 per cent compared with the previous event, productronica is once again demonstrating its outstanding position in the global market and its importance as a communication and development platform for the entire sector. In addition to the classic core areas of electronics production, this year’s trade fair is once again an important and central platform for innovative themes relevant to the future.

productronica 2011 is focusing on four highlight themes: Electronic Manufacturing Services (EMS), Battery/energy-storage manufacturing, Efficient production management and Organic and Printed Electronics. In addition to numerous exhibitors who will be showcasing their products and solutions, the individual themes will also subjected to in-depth scrutiny and discussion in their own forums.
A particular highlight is also the special show “Battery manufacturing and power electronics” in Hall B2. This is where leading companies will be presenting the entire production process of the battery cell for the very first time. You can also put together a battery factory interactively in RWTH Aachen’s “Virtual factory” as well as map out cost scenarios.
This year, the European PCB industry is focusing on new areas, receiving a platform customised to its requirements in Hall B1. Its very own PCB Community Area with the PCB marketplace offers many and diverse opportunities in numerous Networking Areas and in the Speakers’ Corner for an in-depth exchange between you and your business partners. This year boasts a high-powered CEO Round Table on the subject of “The future of industrial production in Germany and Europe”. CEOs of leading companies will be discussing this on the first day of the trade fair from 11 a.m. onwards in the productronica forum in Hall A1.
Don’t miss out on productronica and experience the future of electronics production at first hand.
We look forward to your visit and wish you a successful productronica 2011!
