The CEO and co-founder of Aegis Software, Jason Spera, discussed this year’s focus for the company and their position in European market. With over 17 years of experience, the company is a provider of software solutions to improve speed, control and visibility throughout manufacturing operations.
Mr. Spera also talked about the R3 release, “is focused on production, logistics, incoming inspection and tactical planning, which is a big advancement for our system. Where now the ERP systems handle planning at a higher level and in a longer term”.
The company will also soon release a suite of solutions that will make compliance with soon-to-be mandatory standards relatively automatic. Mr. Spera specifically talked about the AS90100 standard that will be mandatory at the end of this year. They will also focus on strategic planning and engineering that is going on with European customers. The company wants to answer what will be done after the information exchange issue around the factory is solved.
