ManiaBarco’s Silverwriter Eagle reportedly has the highest resolution in the PCB industry with up to 40,000dpi. The machine features an optical system specially designed to very fine lines and spaces with ultra-sharp edges and very high precision line-width control. The resulting image widely surpasses the image quality produced by predecessor equipment, as the company reports. Producing denser boards with more complex technologies, and also BGA/flip chip, chip-scale components and advanced lead-frame structures are stretching the limits of current PCB imaging technology. According to the supplier, this machine provides line quality, positioning accuracy and line width control which are required to let fabricators meet these challenges. It offers high reliability, accuracy and flexibility. All previous models of this series can be upgraded to the latest version.
