The semi-automated Harting CPM Prestige is a universal press-in machine for inserting connectors in high-volume and low-volume production environments. Featuring a special cut-off algorithm, it continuously records data on press-in forces and distances and calculates cut-off points without the need of adjustments for connector type, board thickness, hole diameter, etc. The press force reaches as high as 100kN. A visual system guides theoperator through the com-plete process. A touch-sensitive monitor is both, a means of visual feedback and a tactile keypad tool.
