Euresys EasyFind is a geometrical template matcher based on feature-point technology. An advanced library for very precise alignment with adjustable tolerance down to the sub-pixel level is included in the eVision image analysis toolkit. It allows faster processing and improves robustness. Thanks to its rotation and scaling invariance, it is able to locate an object with a scaling tolerance of 50 to 200% and a rotation of 360° from the reference. Designed to be used under difficult conditions, this template matcher is highly tolerant to pattern degradations due to noise, blur, occlusion, missing parts and varying illumination. EasyFind is featured with don’t-care-areas to create complex pattern shapes. This advanced pattern matcher can be easily used in many applications such as fiducial alignment, die and wire bonding, PCB inspection or printing.
