Hitachi High-Technologies Europe continues its long-term strategy to expand and reinforce its network of European distributors by naming Elas Kft as the distributor of the SMT systems, particularly the highly flexible modular mounters of the Sigma-Series, for the Hungarian market. Elas will begin handling all sales, service, support and spare part operations within Hungary on behalf of the company. Elas Kft is based in Budapest with a staff of 17 people, representing market leaders to provide complete manufacturing and testing solutions for the electronics assembly industry. The team has a wide range of process knowledge in stencil printing, soldering, dispensing, selective coating, potting, cleaning, AOI applications, X-ray & ICT testing. The Sigma series rounds up the entire product portfolio of Elas who has an installed base of more than 500 production and test systems in Hungary. The company is committed to providing world class support to its customers from large multinational EMS and OEM companies to local manufacturers. An important part of the Elas strategy is to expand their activities & portfolio according to the industry needs.
