ACE Production Technologies, Inc. has acquired all of the Drop-Jet Spray Head technology and Spray Head related products from Castle Controls & Automation, LLC. The purchase and sale agreement was announced recently by Alan Cable, President of ACE and by John Radtke, President of Castle Controls and Automation. The latter has been a provider of turnkey automation solutions since 1978, including mechanical, electrical, electronic, pneumatic and hydraulic disciplines, motion control and vision system applications. “Our newly acquired Drop-Jet spray head technology is unique in its serviceable design and choice of materials,” Al Cable stated. “This design has proven to be compatible with all liquid fluxes.” His Company will immediately offer the Drop-Jet flux head as an option on its selective soldering products and will announce stand-alone and in-line fluxing products in the coming months. John Radtke will accept a position on the ACE engineering team where his 25 plus years of controls and automation design experience will enhance the Company’s position in the selective soldering marketplace.
