With a specific focus on microelectronic assemblies and systems, SMTconnect 2020 gathered experts from all areas, including sectors such as Electronic Manufacturing Services (EMS), e-mobility, industrial electronics, telecommunication, and more. With a wide coverage, the show provided the opportunity to see the entire value chain, from materials and components, manufacturing equipment, to reliability and testing, and software and production control.
Due to the increasing spread of the Coronavirus (Covid-19) in Europe, the tradeshow was cancelled and instead took place digitally on 28-30 July 2020. With today’s uncertainties of whether or not social events are taking place, a survey* has been conducted in order to learn about the plans of exhibitors.
