Regular monitoring of the cleaning bath should be an integral part of each cleaning process – Zestron’s process engineering team stands ready to support you. If the cleaning bath is not monitored regularly, the bath loading capacity of the cleaner is unknown and may be exceeded during the ongoing process. If this is the case, the cleaner can no longer remove the contamination from the board surfaces. Residues on the parts’ surfaces are the logical consequence.
In order to determine the limits of your process, your regional process engineer will carry out an analysis of your cleaning bath on request. For this purpose, the company will analyze six bath samples of your process at our Analytical Center by using different test methods over a specified period of time. Based on the results, your engineer will prepare a customized monitoring curve with applicable parameters for your cleaning process, including information on the process limits to show when the bath should be changed.
