This year’s Productronica is turning out to be very successful for Siemens Electronics Assembly Systems: To the delight of the Portuguese Siplace team, the internationally operating Preh Group decided to invest in two machines of the latest type. On the basis of prior successful cooperation, Joao Soares, Preh’s production manager in Trofa, Portugal, and Olavo Flora, process engineer at Preh, voted to invest in Siplace placement machines for the company’s plant in Portugal. „The Productronica was a great success for our team. Many meetings at the show and concrete orders like the one from Preh are indicators that the economic recovery is continuing. As it turns out, countering this crisis with enhanced research and development activities and the resulting technological innovations was the right decision. Thanks to this tailwind we are now benefitting from the upswing faster and more strongly than other suppliers,“ said Thierry Bouchaud, head of Siplace’s Southwest Europe sales region about the deal with Preh Group.
