The electronics group of Henkel appoints Gary Shi to technical manager with direct responsibility for the development of liquid epoxy products for the electronics industry, including epoxies, encapsulants, underfills, adhesives and sealants. He will undertake the management of current and ongoing development projects, interacting with customers and own development services to create standard market and customized products. Ultimately, Shi is charged with ensuring that Henkel liquid epoxy products continue to meet market needs comprehensively. Having gained his PhD from New York’s Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, Gary Shi is a chemist who has been working in the coating and sealant industry since 1995, been at Henkel for the past eight years, and starting at Loctite.
