New European Director of Business Development
Acculogic’s Manufacturing Test Systems Division, a global leader in electronic test and production solutions, announces the promotion of Marco Barahmand to European Director of Business Development. The 17-year company veteran started in April 1993 as a design engineer. For the last five years, he has been the product manager for the Boundary Scan division. His performance in product management has been key to the MTS division’s excellent growth in Western Europe.

“Marco’s ability to adapt quickly, along with his team spirit, has enabled him to fill voids and help the group through some very challenging times. Feedback on the recent customer satisfaction survey attests to the strength of the relationships he has developed over his career,” said Saeed Taheri, President of Acculogic. “The European Market is critical to the company’s long-term success. We look forward to watching Marco deliver the highest levels of customer service in his new role as our European Director of Business Development.”
Marco will be based in Hamburg, Germany, and will be responsible for sales and support for all of the MTS product lines for European markets, including the Scorpion Flying Probe, Sprint Flying Probe, Boundary Scan, MDA and In-Circuit Test systems, as well as XMatic CAD processing software. His first task in his new position will be to build on the company’s current distribution network and expand the presence in the growing Eastern European markets.
