Nepcon/UK 2007 in Birmingham
Reed Exhibitions has released details of the enhanced visitor facilities lined up for Nepcon 2007, taking place on May 15th to 17th. Marking its second year at the Birmingham NEC, Nepcon will continue to serve its industry as the UK’s national electronics manufacturing exhibition. A comprehensive web presence will support all show activities, with a wide range of online tools. Among these, an Exhibitor Library links visitors directly to exhibitor’s Sales & Marketing brochures, product information and case studies. In addition, a visitor Show Planner facility has been developed to help attendees plan their time at the show. By indicating their preferences online, visitors using the Show Planner will gain instant access to information about relevant exhibitors and a personalized show plan highlighting selected stand locations.

“Following feedback from last year’s event, we will install an additional WiFi area to enable even more Nepcon visitors to access the Internet and keep in touch with the office while at the show,” explains Nepcon Sales Manager, Claire Jeffreys. “We have also created a brand new visitor lounge where attendees can hold business meetings without leaving the exhibition hall. We hope that these developments, as well as everything else that the show offers, will serve to enhance the visitor’s experience”. A dedicated Association Village will bring together the key industry associations including COG, IET and Intellect and will also provide advice during the daily roundtable discussions. The 2007 show will again have a strong seminar program with the SMART Group, as well as a program from the DSEi (Defence Systems & Equipment International Exhibition), advising SMEs looking to enter the aerospace and military sector as a supplier. The 2007 show will also see the return of Nepcon highlights, such as the Component Sourcing Village, the UK Can Make It Pavilion and the PCB Village.
