National Instruments has opened registration for the 2005–2006 NIDays worldwide conference and NI technical symposium, the company’s series of virtual instrumentation events that reaches 84 cities and 40 countries. From October 2005 through May 2006, users from around the globe will attend the conferences for product presentations, technology-focused sessions and exhibits on the latest solutions in control, measurement and test. An estimated 14,000 users of all kinds will attend the conferences across Europe, Asia-Pacific, Latin America and Africa. The technical symposium series brings similar conferences to 26 cities across the United States and Mexico. During both conferences, attendees can exchange ideas on innovative approaches to technical challenges, study future technology trends in virtual instrumentation and learn firsthand how software and hardware increases productivity and lowers costs. Attendees also have the opportunity to learn about software, extending graphical programming to embedded product design, and hardware innovations including PCI Express and USB high-speed data acquisition devices. These products offer greater flexibility, faster system design and implementation as well as increased system performance.
