National Electronics Week in June 2008

National Electronics Week (NEW) has made a strong start to the year, announcing even more high profile additions to its floorplan while lining up a wealth of educational opportunities for attendees. Being held at London’s Earls Court 2 over 17th – 19th June, the event’s debut will ensure that 2008 is a positive NEW year for the UK electronics industry. Since its launch in 2007, NEW has attracted widespread support from all corners of the industry. Introducing an unprecedented scope of coverage, from design and components through to production and distribution, NEW has confirmed support from some of the industry’s leading names. Recent additions include Agilent, Interpower Components, National Instruments, OK International, Panasonic, Blundell, Seho and Nutek, who will join the likes of Juki, Europlacer, PACE, Kaisertech and Fuji at Earls Court in June.

Event Director Claire Jeffreys explains: “There is a lot of speculation in the industry at the moment about the UK’s exhibition landscape and it is certainly time to set the record straight. I can reveal that the above major assembly equipment suppliers have chosen NEW – they are confirmed and contracted. We are the only truly comprehensive electronics exhibition in the UK, featuring an unprecedented scope of coverage from design and components, through to production and distribution. We have the most extensive seminar line-up available today, while our experienced team is second to none and working hard to ensure the best possible show experience for everyone. With all this and more, we are confident that 2008 really will be a year to remember for NEW exhibitors and visitors alike.”
Matching the comprehensive scope of visitors is an equally comprehensive educational programme. Delivering world-class, unrivalled technical content, NEW is being joined by teams from the IPC, AFDEC and the Electronics Knowledge Transfer Network who will all contribute to the event’s packed seminar schedule. Constantly being expanded in line with the needs of attendees, the event’s educational content combines with exclusive visitor incentive packages to make NEW a value-driven proposition for the whole industry.
