Expomedia Events, German office, and joint-venture partner Gruner + Jahr have mutually launched NanoSolutions 2005, a highly specialized exhibition for the nanotechnology industry taking place from November 8 to 10 in Cologne. It is aimed at medium-sized manufacturers or users, respectively, and focuses on the benefits which nanotechnology will probably have on products, innovations and investments in the future. In particular, this show will focus on nano-applications, answering the key question of how products manufactured using this approach can be verifiably and long-lastingly improved. Europe’s reportedly premier nanotechnology R&D organization, the Institute of Nanotechnology (IoN) from Scotland, is partnering with the organizers. Since 1997, the IoN has worked closely with governments, universities, researchers and companies worldwide on developing and promoting all aspects of nanotechnology. The institute is working actively to ensure that NanoSolutions will become the leading annual event in the European nanobusiness calendar.
