The company was founded as a spin-off of the Friedrich-Alexander-University Erlangen-Nuremberg under the leadership of Professor Häusler. He and his team of experts, all with doctorates in their field, have been focusing particularly on deflectometry and white-light interferometry 3D gauging methods since 2001. The systems developed based on these methods are capable of recording the measuring object’s topology into the nanometer range. Applications for the products are found in the field of industrial quality control and precision measurements.
