Lotus Systems now runs a sales and service subsidiary in California. With the new office the leading German manufacturer of wet process, chemical and cleaning systems for the production of solar cells, semiconductors and MEMS gives a strong sales forces commitment to the U.S. market.
Predominantly the West Coast states California, Arizona, New Mexico and other parts of the U.S. will be overseen from the Los Angeles metropolitan area. With the new office, the company will primarily address manufacturers of crystalline silicon solar cells and manufacturers of thin-film solar modules. In this context, Lotus strongly focuses on providers of fully automated turnkey production lines. Research institutes and universities that are engaged in photovoltaics, as well as companies in the semiconductor and MEMS industry are also part of the potential customer portfolio. The new office, headed by Uwe Bösinger (37), will act as a sales representative. As part of the company’s customer service, offers are usually made free of charge. The basic principle of the procedure: each offer is individually tailored in concert with the customer or a service concept adapted to his needs. If projects substantiate, they will be directly assigned to an engineer or project manager in Germany who, in individual cases, will provide on-the-spot support.
