Koh Young, one of the global leading AOI companies, has now promoted Mike C.J. Yoo to the position of managing director of Koh Young Europe. He took over the responsibilities of the current managing director, André Myny, who will assume new duties at Koh Young global headquarters in Seoul, Korea next year. Mike Yoo has been working at Koh Young Europe with André Myny since April of this year (2014), preparing to take on his new role, and they will continue to work together until April 2015 when André Myny will transfer his responsibilities to Seoul.
“I am honored to have this opportunity to lead Koh Young Europe GmbH, European subsidiary of Koh Young Technology, going forward in business,” Mike Yoo explained. “I plan to continue to implement Koh Young’s growth strategies in the European market as we continue to be the global leader in 3D inspection and measurement technologies for electronics manufacturing.” Prior to joining Koh Young, Mike Yoo served as general manager of a business incubation center (SBC-KBDC, Korea Business Development Center) near Frankfurt am Main, Germany, supporting many Korean SMEs endeavoring to penetrate the European market. Besides of the facility in Europe (Germany) further direct sales and support centers are located in the United States, Japan, Singapore, China (Shenzhen) and Korea.
