IPTE Germany regrouped to three fields of interest

IPTE Germany GmbH, daughter company of the IPTE NV, Integrated Production and Test Engineering in Genk/Belgium, has newly been positioned in the market. Not at least the acquisition of the French Prodel Group in fall last year has made this move necessary.

The focus of activities at the site in Fürth/Germany lies now in the following three areas:

Solutions for test systems and test automation
Process automation in board assembly
End-of-line processes in electronics assembly as well as in similar products
The business field automation of test provides the longest available service and equipment of the IPTE NV, and encompasses automation solutions in the areas of in-circuit-test, flash programming, functional test as well as final electrical and optical test solutions. As central part of this service, there will be custom-specific test systems designed and built, accompanied by fixtures and test programs as needed. Those turnkey board and product test solutions are delivered for a variety of industries such as automotive, consumer and industrial electronics as well as for telecommunication equipment manufacturers.
The portfolio of solutions in the area of board-related processes includes barcode application by labeling, laser or ink jetting, odd-form assembly and dispensing as well as stress-free depaneling. On the basis of the IPTE machines such as for depaneling (SpeedRouter), for odd-form assembly (SpeedMounter) and the special process work cells (BAT), customized solutions will be realized. An entire program of handling and transport modules is fundamental for linking of the different process steps and also for the configuration of complete production lines.
For the assembly of electronic boards to build fully functional products, IPTE can now offer a well-proven and thoroughly developed end-of-line production system, due to the acquisition of the Prodel Group. Its highly modular concept is based on operating of work-piece holders and offers by the use of a building kit an easy integration of test and assembly tasks within a single work cell – including the needed feeder units. Those single work cells then will be linked together to form a complete line.
