Developing the range of feeder technology
Pb-Technik (pbt) is continuously expanding its product range in the section of feeder technology. In addition to the approved standard products from Hover-Davis the sales and consultancy company is also offering feeders for special applications, as that is special bare die feeders, direct die feeders, tray stak feeders, waffle pack feeders and several modified label presenters (peel-feeders) for application of so called die cuts (special parts) and functional parts.

The goal is among others, to provide cost effective solutions for special applications which will accelerate their production process and make it more economic. Very often special parts as for example pressure compensation seals or moisture sensors are still applied manually. Or the production uses complex and expensive special machines to automate the application.
Delivered in one row on a liner the special parts can easily change into standard parts which will be fed simply and without high expenses in a pick and place system with a specially designed peel feeder. For the division Feeder Technology the company has engaged a specialist, William C. Campbell (see figure), who has been working a long time as an application engineer with Hover-Davis before he started his job with pbt. He is well grounded in the different technologies and he will support pbt actively with the further development of its products.
