BTU International names Rob DiMatteo General Manager

US-based supplier of advanced thermal processing equipment for the electronics manufacturing market, BTU International, has announced the promotion of Rob DiMatteo to General Manager. Prior to this, DiMatteo was the Director of Sales – Americas at the company. As General Manager, DiMatteo has responsibility for all of BTU’s operations including manufacturing facilities in the USA and China.

“We are excited to start a new era at BTU. Under Rob, we expect a relentless focus on our customers and stakeholders. The customer’s voice will be part of every conversation,” said Michael Whang, Chief Executive Officer of Amtech Systems. “Rob has the full support of our organization and is tasked to meet BTU’s financial and growth goals in the coming quarters,” added Whang.

DiMatteo has almost 30 years of experience in sales management, customer support and product development and has extensive knowledge of BTU’s customer base and end markets, including surface mount technology and high-temperature applications.

BTU International, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Amtech Group, is a global supplier and technology leader of advanced thermal processing equipment in the electronics manufacturing market.
