ULT AG introduces an app for portable devices such as smartphones or tablet PCs with iOS and Android operating systems. The “ULT App” is a simple and efficient tool to support technicians and production schedulers in calculating required extraction and filtration technology. The application software can be utilized to determine the air flow velocity in pipelines at certain volume flows and expected pipe requirements. According to user information on pipe diameter and volume flow, the calculator determines the air speed. Additionally, a suitable product for a specific utilisation is suggested. As a special feature, the app can calculate required extraction performance from a device’s pressure drop. Further app highlights are information about pressure loss per meter of pipe, calculation of electric power and air heating at given pressure drop, calculation of required energy for air warming or cooling as well as conversion from Pascal to mBar.
